Pain And Burning In The Upper Abdomen. Is This Ulcer?

Hi there, I have a pain on the upper abdomen (on the upper left side just under the rib cage)Its more a feeling of a discomfort and a light burn. I have been having this on and off for the last month. It's starts early in the morning especially after my morning coffee. I have no problem going to the bathroom and stools look fine. I still have an appetite etc...I have scheduled an appointment to see my family doctor, but do you think I should worry? Can it be an ulcer? I am 30 years old and it seems a bit young for that?

Thanks for your query

Regarding your complaints it is nothing but gastritis or gastric ulcer
the main symptoms of this are heart burn that is pain under rib cage,belching,bloating,,in extreme cases you have vomitings also..
You have to use proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole or rabiprazole..
With in 5-7 days you may be free from symptoms..
Even for ulcer also this is the prescribed treatment...
