On Medication For TB. Reports Showing TB Cured. Need To Continue Medication?
My wife was diaganoised with TB and medication started for nearly 2 months, later when consulted with the doctor informed the reports do not support TB but the medicine has to be continued for 4 months. We took a 2nd opinion who also confirmed that the reports do not suggest TB and to stop all medicine. Kindly advise. Cheers...

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
If Tuberculosis is confirmed then complete the treatment for six months.
Though all reports are normal after 2 months treatment, continue treatment for 4 months.
If there is no confirm diagnosis of TB then consult TB specialist and take his opinion before stopping the treatment.
Continue nourishing and high protein diet.
