Observed Specks Of Blood In Phlegm After Quitting Smoking. Worried
Hi, i recently quit smoking marijuana and 2 days later had small specks of blood in my phlegm and now a week later am having some chest pains, i had quit smoking marijuana before and also found small amount of blood in phlegm. i am 18, also an ex- smoker should i be majorly worried about this? I only smoked for about a year

Blood is phlegm needs to be investigated thoroughly.
It can be due to
- Local Infection
- Bronchial pathology
- minor injury during phlegm production.
