My husband is 47, relatively good health, slightly overweight but now obese. He has had a fever on and off for 10 days now. Just doesn't feel great, sometimes hurts when urinating. He went to a walk in clinic (we are on vacation) and did not have a fever at the time so they did not prescribe antibiotics. They said he definately did not have the flu. We started pushing fluids, got Cranberry juice and pills thinking maybe a UTI. His fever has came back this evening. It goes up to 102 with 600 mg of Ibupropen. The fever comes usually later in the day. Now he has gotten stuffy but I think it is allergies in the Oklahoma moist climate with grass and trees (we are from the AZ desert). Any suggestions? He usually feels better in the morning after sleeping and by the time his fever comes back it is too late to get to a doctor and they won't prescribe antibiotics without a fever.
