Numbness In Arms And Shoulders. Reason?

I have been having severe numbness in both arms from shoulders down for many months now....I do have an appointment with a neurologist but the referring doc is having me see someone who specializes in MS, should I be worried I may have this? It's a burning numbness so I am thinking more along the lines of pinched nerve, but I have friends saying it could be cubicle tunnel, signs of diabetes or thoracic output syndrome....

Hello ,

thanks for writing to us
The cause of frequent problem -this kind of pain is due to compression of nerve because of spinal disc bulge. Nerve compression lead to radiating pain, which aggravated on long time sitting in same particular position.

Another differential is you might be having Thoracic outlet syndrome.
Do not worry about MS as it gives much more symptoms.
Do MRI cervical spine ,there might be nerve compression.

you may need methylcobalamine , muscle relaxant with analgesic

Welcome to HCM.
Your symptoms suggest nerve route compression at cervical level.
X-ray cervical region is necessary.Go for other supportive investigations like CBC,RBS,S.B12,S.CALCIUM,D3. Start treatment accordingly.
Better consult Orthopedician for proper diagnosis and medical management.
