Noticed A Spot Like Blister Behind The Ear

I have a spot and a ype of bister next to the spot behind my ear and it feels like there is a lump behind my ear ... I have had a lump behind my other ear for a while but was told it was a harmless cyst by a doctor. What are the spots and blsiters behind my ear? It is exstremely painful

I can understand your concern. The diagnosis that is made after clinical examination of the lesion is more reliable that made by the description of it by the patient. Thus, I would agree with your doctor for having a cyst behind your ear and explain you regarding that.

Cyst is a fluid filled cavity that is having a lining of cell layer. Usually, the cyst is painless and grows slowly under the skin. However, if the cyst gets infected, it causes pain.

The only treatment option of the cyst is its surgical removal along with its lining. Thus, as it has started paining now, it seems that the cyst is infected and it requires surgical removal.
