Noticed A Lump And Blister On Ear Lobe Due To Piercing

I got my third ear lobe piercing 5 months ago and they re still healing. My left one has been playing up lately. Today the little ball fell off and I noticed the area was swollen from inside. It doesn t really hurt. I squeezed it to see if any pus would come out but none Did. Suddenly I heard a pop and blood came out, not gushing but quite a bit. There isn t any pus as far as I can see, just blood. There s a little blister looking thing behind my ear and the area is still a little lumpy inside . What s going on? Should I leave my earring in or leave it out?

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of ear piercing for third time 5 months and development of a swelling which on pressure gave bleeding.
There is no pus coming out only blood.There is a little blister looking thing behind the ear and the area is still lumpy.
This is called a granuloma formation and can go into a stage of chondroma as the third piercing would definitely on the cartilage bearing pinna.
I would advise you the following:
Stop using anything as the irritation will not allow it to heal.
Topical and oral steroids help to reduce the swelling, occasionally intra-lesional steroids helps to get a cure.
