Nose Bleeding For A Alcoholic Person

my husband woke up 2 days ago with a severe nose bleed really bad and it was so bad that he was spitting up alot of blood . i guess it was draining in his mouth . he said his head hurts also . and he drinks alcohol daily ?

Hi Lisa,
Nasal Bleeding occurs because of High Blood Pressure or congestion of inner membrane of nose.
If your husband does not have cold, get his blood pressure checked.
If blood pressure is right get the Liver Function Tests done to check his liver status. Prothrombin Time, Bleeding Time and Clotting Time should be checked.
