Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Looking at the age and symptoms, I am thinking of a bleeding in stomach.
The stomach pain could be due to bleeding in stomach secondary to gastritis or tumor. This could have led to black stools. Associated pain could have led to loss of appetite.
I advise you to take her immediately to ER and get an upper GI endoscopy done to evaluate the bleeding. Risk of perforation is present, so need to go at the earliest.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
