Hi,

The pain in your eyes is suggestive for persistent high blood pressure. I usually advise my patients to measure blood pressure for 1 week on daily basis and record the results.

If any of the results will be higher than 150/90, then, I usually advise to take 1 tb of nifedipin (prescription) under the tongue to get it lowered.

You need to discuss this further with your physician.

If after 1 week, your blood pressure would persist high, then, should start medication. Meanwhile, I advise to :
- limit salt intake
- avoid fatty/fried/processed foods
- avoid activities that require lots of stress

Hope it helped!
