My wife is been on tamoxifen for about four years about three weeks ago she started getting swelling in her feet. I realize that it is a side effect from tamoxifen. She is had a physical, blood work,and a trip to the ER for ultrasound on both legs to check for blood clots. All negative. After the initial doctors visit She started taking diuretics, Mobic, and something that started with a T ( trestles)?The swelling went down for a few days. She had a follow up visit scheduled will say on a Tuesday. The Thursday before the feet started swelling again. Her family physician recommended doubling up on the Mobic and the medication that started with a T. By the time she went to the doctor on Tuesday. Her feet have swollen up double what they were the first time and it's very painful for her to walk. We have a appointment for Monday with her oncologist. But with this much pain and swelling she has it is starting to alarm me. Any suggestions?
