My Wife Had An Upper And Lower GI Today. She

My wife had an upper and lower GI today. She took the Movie Prep and adhered to the diet directive the two days leading up to the procedure. As she was being discharged, the doctor/ and nurse told us that she had several small polyps removed in her lower GI and a few areas where they took a sample of "red matter" inside her stomach. They said they would get those samples biopsied but thought it was from some meds she was already taken (listed lots of possible). She has only eaten pasta soup since with a Dr Pepper and water since being taken home. She has done several bowel movements since coming home, all dark colored (VERY Brown) but succeeding to become smaller each time. She does not appear to be uncomfortable, but we were told to watch out for "excessive" bleeding. I personally have have had excessive bleeding out of the rectum a few years ago, and it was like having diarrhea with massive amounts of red blood and had to go to the emergency room to be treated and receive 3 units of blood. Should I be worried for her even as the trips to go to the restroom have lessened and no signs of red blood? Please advise.
