My mother is 83 and when she swallows a lot of the time she has a clear mucus come up. It just keeps coming up, real stringy. Sometimes it doesn't happen. Sometimes it happens when she just takes a sip of water. Mom's health is not well and this is making her loose weight. When this starts it can last up to an hour. She is on antibiotics because she has had MURSA twice and someone said it may be yeast overgrowth.Any suggestions what we can do?
