My Left Arm Hurts From Shoulder Through Biceps To Forearm

My left arm hurts from shoulder through biceps to forearm when carry something like a football, a bag like in a "farmer's walk", or holding something in front of me arm slightly extended or curling something like a dumb bell. For example winding Christmas lights on a reel. Injured arm only holding the reel. It is awful, but most times are only mildy aches. I had an MRI which shows a labrum tear posterior. I am certain I made this injury about 2.5 years ago shoulder pressing a dumb bell. The arm has hurt for a less period. I can press a dumb bell without pain and lift my arm above my shoulder without pain. The shoulder has good range of motion and is stable according to my orthopedist who says it is overuse biceps tendonitis. I have tried therapy and rest and 7 days ago a cortisone injection. No improvement. I take lots and lots of ibuprofen to manage this pain and back pain caused by arthritis. I need some insight into what else my cause this pain.
