My husband was given lorazepam .He has metatastic prostate cancer, COPD, 2 open heart surgeries, , etc. 89 Yrs old. Becomes especially anxious due to gasping for breath at times. This drug has made him les anxious, increased his appetite and generally made him feel better. Yesterday he got a dose along with M. 90 min. later he sounded like his was drunk. Should he get the 2 drugs separately rather than at the same time?
