My husband was diagnosed with strep throat yesterday and started on an antibiotic. He is not getting any better and now he says the whole right side of his head hurts down into his neck. Is this normal? Should we give the antibiotic longer to work or is this a sign of something else. I am worried as it is Friday and we live in a very small town with no access to doctor other than a hospital on the weekends.
