My Husband Had E-coli Infection In Bladder As A Result

My husband had e-coli infection in bladder as a result of cystoscopy. It started 1.5 mo ago and infection is gone by now. He was on Percocet 2tabs q4hrs for about the month and then 2tabs q12hrs and now 1tab q12hrs. 3 days ago he had cardioversion for a-fib, which he developed while at the hospital. For the last 2 nights he has orthopnea and some SOB during the day. Because, he decreased dosage of Percocet, could it be due to Percocet withdrawal?
