My Husband And I Were Considering Having A Baby. A

My husband and I were considering having a baby. A worry we have is our age difference.
My husband is 59. I've read up on how older sperm is high risk sperm for autism and schizophrenia.
He had his first child at 35 (his ex-wife at the time was 42). Their son (23) is very healthy!
What advice do you have? Should we not take the risk? We strongly want to have a child together but don't want to make a decision that is selfish. Thank you for your time!
