My dad is 85 y/o and fell and required a right hip ORIF. After 3 days in the hospital, he d/c'd to a skilled nursing facility yesterday. He is really struggling with his mentation and will go in and out of coherency. I requested his med list from my mom and the few that I wasn't sure about were Cipalopram,10 mg, Hydrobromide, cyclobenzaprine HCI, 10 mg, every 8 hours for muscle spasms as needed, and Hydrocodone, 325 mg, 1 po/6 hours as needed. Could these medications or perhaps the interactions between them be causing the confusion?
