My cousin had c-spine surgery April 20, 2016, she was doing well until evening of the 27th. At that time she developed a lump above the incision (anterior) and it grew pretty fast to the size of a ping pong ball. She was driven two hour's to the hospital where the surgery was performed. Surgery consisted of c-spine surgery and marrow was put in between disc, no plate was placed. She was admitted and had been waiting to see her doctor however she was told he was on vacation finally a hour ago. She was told her blood work suggested infection so they started antibiotics, when she asked about the lump she was told she would have to see her doctor. She went in because of the lump which has grown more. What is the lump that has complicated swallowing. Makes her regergatate applesauce, and everything else. Thank you.
Sincerely,
