My brother recently had two different episodes of these symptoms...knowing something was wrong the first time he said he laid in bed for 5 hours. He said he could not move , could not talk or communicate. Posture was decorticating, sweating profusely, temp of 106. He said was conscious and knew what was going on but could not communicate. He was in Switzerland at the time and his coworkers found him and he was in ICI for days. All vital signs appeared normal. All tests they ran came back normal. Neuro told him it was an over use of OTC antihistamine since he had ear & sinus infection at the time. He was like this for hours before being able to communicate. The second episode was the same symptoms but without the temp. He said he knows when something is wrong with him before it actually happens but the can't communicate the problem. He has had heart tests blood tests CT's MRI's which all came back normal. Do you have any ideas to help him? He is 62 years old and has had a very normal healthy life. No family history of seizure,etc.
