My Mother is in the hospital.She broke the ball on the top of her leg bone that goes into her hip.The small hospital that she was at waited two days because of blood thinner .Then her white blood count went up so they sent her to the hamot hospital in erie Pa. and they did the surgery the next day.They said they would get her out of bed the next day but they did not yesterday and they did not today. I know there is a syndrome on hip surgery that if the people do not get out of bed soon they never will.can you please explain.They are saying that she is refusing to do Therapy .But she is confused and wants to sleep
