Hi.
Since FNAC is suggestive of tubercular lymphadenitis, he needs a course of minimum of 2 + 4 months treatment of antitubercular treatment. Your Doctor will prescribe you the medicines in the form of a Kit or different tablets as per his choice.
Always do baseline liver function tests in addition to serum proteins and routine blood test.
Repeat liver function tests after 2 weeks after starting the treatment.
Inform your Doctor if you develop any tingling or burning in feet, visual disturbances immediately. He will have daily red stool or urine due to Rifampicin- this is normal
Needs high protein diet and mutiviatmins in the for of antioxidant capsules.
Injection streptomycin is also a very good additional medicine- to be taken for first 2 months only.
Lymph nodes take a lot of time to heal and shrink, so do not worry about the size reduction.
Observe for increase in appetite, weight gain , feeling better and such symptoms and signs.
