Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 4 year old daughter had high fever for 5 days. Today she has had a low temperature and she's sweating a lot. She's been eating and drinking normally. But she has a low temperature of 96.9. I took her to the dr yesterday and he couldn't say if she has a viral or bacterial infection but he prescribed antibiotics just in case I want to give that to her. She's never had any antibiotics and she's usually healthy.
Should I worry about the low temperature and sweating even though she's been happy the entire day and she's been eating normally?
