My 23 year old son has seen numerous Drs. Had blood tests, been checked for vitamin deficiency, anemia, Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr disease, and many other things and all vitamin deficiencies have been corrected - nothing else was "of consequence ". Our family dr referred him to a psychiatrist who diagnosed him as ADD. He has tried several ADD meds which caused "heart episodes" so bad he went to a cardiologist. We are waiting for the results of his heart monitor test. He still has what he describes as, brain fog, not able to focus, no energy, can not think about more than 1 simple thing at a time.
