My 19 month old daughter gets red cheeks in the evening. What could be the reason for this?

Hi, my 19 month old daughter gets red cheeks in the evening. She runs and play and acts fine. During the day her cheeks are fine. Could it be from something eats like pasta, or a skin condition? Thanks dee

Your daughter is probably getting flushing. This is due to extra blood supply to the cheek area.It can happen due to many reasons like temperature extremes, excitement, mood swings ,certain types of food intake. It not a serious problem. If the flushing comes and goes, then a skin condition is not likely. If she has any rashes then do see a doctor.
