My 16 year old daughter was seen at urgent care yesterday due to swelling and pain near her jaw. The dr did xrays and determined the jaw was not dislocated or anything and believes it is a strain. I'm not sure how that would happen, but my daughter is in worse pain today even with the ibuprofen the doctor recommended. 600-800 mgs 3x's per day. Is there anything else we should consider?
