Hi I have had issues with a very specific pain in my left temporal artery . No specific cause I can attribute, that said, I m 27 year old male of healthy weight cholesterol maybe slightly high as is blood pressure low pre hypertension . Also a slight twitch in eye lid. No blurred vision though. I have no insurance so any help or direction before a visit is much appreciated. Thank you.
Dear friend..you are still quite young to be hypertensive..
Since you are having borderline BP and cholesterol, this is the right time for modify your lifestyle..
that means control your weight to maintain BMI around 23, go for almost daily brisk walk or aerobic exercises atleast 30 minutes, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, avoid junk food, smoking, cut down your salt intake.
regarding your temporal pain,,may be simple vascular head ache or neuralgia...
get one consultation with physician..
good luck
