Medication Other Than Tussq Syrup To Stop Dry Irritating Cough In Child?
hi my daughter,aged 10years,weight 28kg is havng dry irritating cough since last 4 days. giving her tussq syrup every 4 hours. the cough comes back . she is having disturbed nights and not able to sleep properly. is there anything else i can give her to help her. i am trying home remedies too like ginger, honey and steam.... but nothing works.

I would consider the diagnosis of seasonal allergy. You can use Zyrtec (cetirizine) or Claritin (loratidine) once per day. Both medications are over the counter. Even if it is not allergy, either one of these medications will help.
