MRI Showed Well Maintained Inter Vertebral Discs, Mild Posterior Displacement Of Thecal Sac. Meaning?

My MRI results read Vertebral body heights and intervertebral disc spaces are well maintained. The spinal cord has a normal signal characteristic. Disc osteophyte complexes are present at t6-t7, t7-t8, t8-t9,t9-t10 and T10-t11resulting in mild posterior displacement of the thecal sac, What does this mean in simpler words?

Hi..amsalcedo.., the osteophytes are extra growths of the bits of l bones,
this will compress the spinal cord, hence you will have pain..
they will measure 1 to 2 mm or few mm..

Take care..
