MRI Scan Showed Non Displaced Fracture In Left Butt. Suggestions?

I am working as an Analyst - So basically work for 12 hours in sitting position only. I had a fall and the MRI SCAN showed - non displaced fracture in left butt (exact pain in sitting position). My doctor said rest is the best way to cure it.. I cannot sit because it increases the pain. While sleeping, i get tingling sensation and it is hard to sleep on one side only. Any medical suggestions please.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms are due to the fracture and mild nerve root irritation caused by the local swelling. Bed rest and adequate pain killers will help in taking care of the symptoms. Sitting is not recommended for at least 3 weeks.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
