Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The knot you can feel near your spine is likely to be due to a soft tissue injury causing a hematoma formation in the area. Most of the times such small knot resolves on its own in 3-4 weeks without much treatment. You must avoid massaging the area to avoid further damage.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
