Lump Near Arms, Pimple Or Tick. What Is It?

Okay so for awhile.... maybe a few months. I have this lump (its small, its hard, and it has a entry hole that you can sometimes see) it hasn't hurt until today. The area around it is a little red. The lump is in the crease of my arm near the outer side of my right arm. I'm 15 and I have no idea what it is. We ruled out that its is a pimple and a tick. Can you please help or tell me what it might be?

Dermatologist 's  Response

Hi,
It seems that you may be having sebaceous cyst..also called epithelioid cyst. There may be small round swelling with opening in the center. If you squiz, there may be sprouting of whitis black cheesy material. It is a benign condition. But, there may be secondary infection. I usually advise in patient to remove the cyst. And take it easy, the cyst is removed by surgical excision under local anaesthesia. And the procedure is minor and done in OPD.So, do not worry.
You cosult either dermatologist or surgeon. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
