Lump In Groin Oozing Pus And Blood . History Of Having Received Oral Sex From Person Without STD. Ideas?

Hi my name is TJ3, I noticed a lump in my groin about 5 days ago and today blood and pus came out of it. I believed it was a swollen lymph node, until today when I saw the blood and pus. I had been having sex with the same person for almost 8 months until we broke up recently (she was a virgin and I was her first, 8 months ago). Two weeks before the lump appeared I received oral sex from a girl who had not had sex in six months and had no STD or STI previous to our engagement. Can you tell me what's going on?

Thanks for the query.

The pus and blood oozing usually named as discharge are mostly a result of an infection and the infection mainly in genital areas that appear after sexual activity are taken as STDs which are always taken seriously as presence of some high risk disease in such transmissions. However the problem you have mentioned seem to be an abscess formation which might have ruptured that is giving out discharge. You can send the discharge for culture and sensitivity and if it shows any bacterial growth then the mentioned sensitive antibiotic can be used under your doctor's prescription. Moreover antiseptic dressings can prevent further progression the infection.
