Lump In Armpit, Pressure On Pressing. Labrum Surgery Done On Shoulder. Causes For Symptoms?

I had Labrum repair surgery on my shoulder 6 weeks ago and i finally got to keep my sling off. But i felt a lump in my armpit when i was in the shower. When i press on it it feels like there is pressure. Is it just a pimple from an ingrown hair from my armpit being closed for 6 straight weeks or is it something serious?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A small lump in the armpit after a labrum repair surgery can be due to a swollen lymph node or an infected gland.
A direct examination of the area is necessary for exact diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
