MY TSH WAS LOW AND MY T3 ON LOW SIDE. I ASKED FOR CYTOMEL., I UPPPED MY DOSE IF SYNTHROID LAST YEAR, FEELING TIRED. I HAVE LOST ALOT OF MUSCLE. I AM AN ATHELETE, MAYBE I SHOULD TRY ARMOUR, I HATE ALL THE MUSCLE LOSS. ALSO, HOW MUCH DOES A PERSON LOWER THEIR SYNTHROID WHEN ADDING CYTOMEL. I TAKE 88MCG SYNTHROID,

Dear Ma'm, yes I am MD and I am licensed to practise. now , as you have added cytomegalovirus you should have decreased thyroxine. Though there is no definite formula as to how much of thyroxine to cut down for how much of liothyronine, you must check your balance again and consult with fresh reports. then we can decide upon the dose. Regards!
