Lipase count for my mother who is currently hospitalized is 5500. She had a pervious short bout with acute pancreintitis, tested after found no cancer, no gallstones, pancreas itself in between bouts is healthy, found sludge in the gallbladder which doesn't always cause issues. Now the pain is fluctuating between 7 and 8 with morphine. Doctors are dragging there feet. So what causing this the sludge or can something else cause the blockage of the duct? What should be happening? Doctor tells her she has a pancreious healthy has a teen's.
