Last night before bed I felt a sudden, quick, sharp, stringing pain, in the top left side of my head. I went to bed no issues. Now today I still feel stinging in the same area, as well as a pressure feeling in the front of my head and temples. I'm also experiencing hand trembling, and face pain and numbness. I have a history of pretty severe tension headaches, but this really doesn't feel like one of my tension headaches. I am just getting over a pretty nasty head cold, and I had a killer cough, could that have anything to do with that? I want to know what the best course of action for this pain. Should I be worried about this headache? Or should I just pop a pain killer and stop worrying?
