Large, Red, Mosquito Like Bumps On Buttock, Thighs, Painful. Went For Hunting. What Could Be This?

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I went hunting in the woods behind my house yesterday and woke up this morning with large, red, mosquito bite-like bumps all over my buttocks (I counted over 25 on one cheek!) and the backs of my thighs. They don't itch at all but they do hurt. I've ruled out fleas because we have no indoor pets and I've seen none. Also bedbugs because my husband doesn't have any bites. I'm at my wits end as to what it could be. I've looked at many sites for bug bites and rashes and couldn't find an answer. They do NOT itch at all! Please help.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

you might have developed acute urticaria.

It is an allergic condition.

Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.

You need to find out the cause.

It might be due to an insect bite

Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.

Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
