Knee And Calf Is Swollen Around The Meniscus. Do Regular Exercise. Underlying Cause?

My right knee is swollen around the meniscus and the back of my knee and down into my calf is swollen. I exercise on a daily basis and teach fitness classes from 08h00 - 17h00 every day, play tennis three times a week and have not pull or strained a muscle while doing activity. Woke up with a swollen right knee and calf.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling of the knee and the pain that you are having is likely to be due to an injury to the internal structures of the knee joint. An MRI scan will help in proper diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
