Joint pain, muscle pain, back pain. Taking treatment. What these symptoms suggest?

MY WIFE WAS SUFFERERING FROM JOINTS PAIN BOTH IN HANDS & LEGS, KNEE PAIN , BACK PAIN , MUSCLE PAIN IN HAND LAST FEW MONTHS. (BUT NOT CONTINUOUS PAIN) SHE TAKEN TREATMENT BUT PAIN ARE REMAINS SAME. AGE: 39YRS, HEIGHT 5.7 , WEEIGHT : 55 KGS. REQUESTING TO SUGUEST A SUITABLE TREATMENT. REGARDS, SETHU FROM HYDERABAD INDIA.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. As I see, your wife is suffering from joint pains in various joints of the body. Joint pains in various joints of the body can be osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis etc. She would need a complete check up along with some blood tests to ascertain the exact diagnosis. You should also observe if pain in the morning lasts for 10-20 minutes or more than an hour. That would help in differentiating osteoarthritis from rheumatoid arthiritis. Once the diagnosis is made, it can be kept under control with medicines. Hope this helps
