I've had a cough for about a month, I've taken the antibiotics, got an an allergy pill and decongestant, the cough is starting to slow, but for about a week now, my right rib cage has been in pain and its getting worse. It hurts to breathe, move certain ways, lie on my back, or lift or pull. And there is a noticeable lump that I can feel rubbing up against my ribs. I got a chest x-ray when I went in for my cough, but the doctor didn't say anything when I mentioned the pain. What can I do? I've taken ibprophin, used a heating pad, icy hot, none of it works, I'm in so much pain, please help!
