I've gotten surgery on my leg about a month ago and I've been taking percocet for the pain. During surgery I was menstrating, everything was normal prior to. For the first couple weeks I was taking six to eight percocets a day, then by the third week and even now I only take two a night to help me sleep because the pain keeps me up. My period is about a week to two weeks late now and today I just started to spot very mildly though. I'm starting to get concerned. Is it the percocet that might be affecting my period or maybe the stress of pain my body is going through? I am six weeks post op, 22 years old and I am not on birth control.
