Is Vomiting And Headaches In Child Related To Concussion After Head Injury?

4 year old fell and hit back of head she was fine with no complaints of her head hurting within a half hour of incident, no issues rest of day or night and even the next day until around 5 pm over 24 hrs later. Then began complaining of headache and began to vomit only after laying down. She seems fine during day while up and was good for a 24 hr period between first night of headache/ vomiting. Took her to dr CT scan normal but symptoms still going on. Should we get a second opinion or is this something that should resolve over a couple days. We are now having her lay with head elevated. Could this be something not related to head impact or is it typical with a concussion? Thanks

Hi ,dont worry. Your symptoms are due to concussion .Concussion is due to physiological damage to brain . She needs antiedema measures and observation in hospital for 48 hours. She will imorove in 5 -7 days and there is no need for second opinion .
