Is Using A Weight Reduction Product Which Has Harmful Chemicals Dangerous?

I bought this product weider neoprene waist reducer not knowing there was a warning label on the bottom that says This product contains one or more chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. How do I know if this product has affected me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is better not to use this product. Although you might reduce weight, the chemicals inside will cause serious harm even putting you at risk for cancer. I think it's not worthy.

The secret to losing weight is: eat less, drink more plain water and enjoy more physical activity. So, better throw it away.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
