Is Tingling Sensation Due To Marijuana Withdrawal?

i am 17 years of age, starting in may 2009 i started smoking maijuana and stop about a year after that in april 2010. I experinced a coouple times when i felt an over whelming tingling sensasion all over my body, one time it lasted 6 days. the tingling sensation feels like when you hit your funny bone but all over my skin not internally. sometimes if i focuse and touch something i dont feel it but for say i am putting on a jacket on my skin it is very over whelming. i am still consernd about this because i have not smoke marijuana for over a year and just recently these sensations are back and i have been to hospitals and doctors and they dont have anything to say they do not have an answer. they just related it to stress and gave me heart attack pills i forget what they are called. those pills do not do anything but calm me down when i get this feeling and it does not get rid of the tingling. please help me i am very scared as to what this is and why. maybe it has nothing to do with marijuana but i have a feeling that it is long term after effects possible deterioration of my brain or something. or posibly just a pinched nerve causing this feeling over my entire body. please i would like an an answer.

Cannot say in your particular case, but here is the wiring diagram. If there is tingling it implies nerves. If it is all over, it implies just a small effect on just the sensation nerves in no particular order. Brain tumor, leprosy, syphillis, multiple sclerosis... pretty much all the disorders would hit particular spots--small areas--not all over. Hyperventilation, drinking too much water, other temporary (mild) alterations of the ionic composition of the nerves would be all over and tingling. Also disorders of IONIZED calcium or magnesium or blood pH. Uncommon to rare. Happens at any age. Fixable. The only common one of these is hyperventilation or entirely psychological effects (stress. "feeling tingling" not actually being tingling). The psychological ones won't show up on lab tests of course, but getting all the ions checked would also be indicated in tingliing.
