Is Thinning Of Cervix During 27 Week Pregnancy A Cause Of Concern?

Hi - my daughter is 27 weeks pregnant with twins. Her doctors have been watching her thinning cervix. She has been taking progesterone for the last 4 weeks ... today s appointment revealed .7 (?) ... they have hospitalized her for 24-48 hours for monitoring .. she is carrying twin IVF-implanted boys. She is in good health and has an active 2 year old little girl. We are very concerned but trying to keep cool heads - glad that the doctors have decided to hospitalize for monitoring. Any further suggestions? Thanks very much!

thinning of cervix at 27 weeks of pregnancy is a matter of concern that may leads to premature labour.
Please consult gynaecologist for detailed examination and an ultrasound for confirmation of diagnosis

My advise to her as following
complete bed rest
maintain good hygiene
have good balanced food
plenty of dietary fiber and fresh fruits
engage yourself into pleasurable activities like listening music playing online games
