Is There Connection Between Constant Headaches And History Of Ruptured Eardrums?

My wife has been having almost daily headaches, after a few month and some treatment she was having sensitivity to light and sounds as well so she got earplugs and it seem to stop the headache at first we though because of loud sounds but she could have a headache and all be silenced and if she uses the earplugs then it goes away even tho there was no sound to beging with i asked her and she that in the past she believe to have rupture her eardrums but nothing beyond some infections has happened ever since the wierd part is both ears must be pluged and then even if the headache had started it just stoped and thinking back her head ache started after spending a few month in a diferent house at a much higher elevation on a mountain but continiued even after we left, could there be some possible link between this and a previous rupture? She had a cat scan and it came out clean no signs of anything tumor wise.

I really appreciate your concern for your wife and the given history could be suggestive of migraine headache and this is kind of functional headache because some functional elements plays the role behind this, such headache started in state of stress, anxiety, depression, hope this information helps, take care.
