Is There Any Side-effects For Heart Disease Medicines?

i am 52 year old woman i had heart problem 41/2 years ago i take lasix 40, cardizem cd 120, digoxin, synthroid, potassum once a day and toprol 2 times a day, my doctor reduced my lasix to 20, he said he that i should not be taking some of these medications anymore and slowly reducing, i thought once you are on these you cant come off, and will create a problem. i am very nervous in doing this. are there a lot of side effects to this.
