Is There Any Side Effect Of Taking Betacap For Migraine And How Much Is The Dosage?

I am 30 years old and I am suffering from Migraine for the past 20 years. My mom had same problem. She took betacap tr 40 for three months after consulting with the doctor and she is fine now. She rarely gets headache now which was more frequent earlier.

As suggested by my mom I have started taking betacap tr 40 capsules twice a day . Will there be any side effects on taking these capsules. Should I take one capsule a day or I can take twice a day.

Thanks for the query to HCM.
Betacap tr is a PROPRANOLOL and is most effective in migraine .
Dosage of propranolol is as 40 mg twice or thrice in day , increased to 160 mg daily. Up to 240 mg daily may be necessary .
Discontinue therapy if satisfactory response not obtained with 4-6 week after reaching maximum dose.
So I mentioned all about betacap , now adjust dose according to your satisfaction.Usually no side effect except mild dependence.
